solo, corner table

.

There is so much that is good about sitting alone in a coffee shop armed with nothing but a book and a laptop and steaming cup of caffienated milk. Except for this part: I have to pee, and there is no one to watch my stuff. I suppose I could....bring my laptop with me? Hot dang. I still have to write letters; I don't want to lose my spot (corner, by the windows, in the sunshine, underneath the music).

Oh Man....I just had to laugh when I read this post! This happens to me all the time. Usually I say a little prayer that my seat will still be available, pack up all my stuff, and go as FAST as I can!!!! I probably look ridiculous...

I also must confess that I have asked "a fellow laptop user" to watch my computer for me...after I did that I wondered, WHAT WAS I THINKING??? However, I figure asking a person who already HAS a laptop might mean that they would be less likely to steel mine? Good logic? Perhaps not...

You could also ask the store owner to watch your stuff if they're within view. Hmm....sounds lovely though. I've never done it, I don't have my own laptop. Some day maybe...
